Subject: Phil and Bobby continue to destroy the Jerry songs?
When they have JK to sing the freakin' songs?!?!

He's good enough for them to play guitar, but not sing...WTF???

Drop the egos Bobby and Phil and LET JK SING!!!

Subject: Fun in the Bucket!
Thanks for sharing this nice recording. The show was classic, summer fun, and the band seemed to enjoy the surroundings. We were hoping for a Hell in a Bucket opener to honor Pawtucket's nickname, but in all other respects the show delivered in spades. To those attending other shows on tour, be warned that the boys are PUNCTUAL! The ticket said 7:00 p.m. and they were right on time (we actually missed Dancin' as we decided to walk to McCoy from home in Oak Hill!).

Subject: Kind Words
Thanks for all the kind words. What a great show and a great scene! I would love to know the official head count, but that place was PACKED. I was thinking during the show that the sound was good, the recording reflects that.

Subject: Whoa!!!
Big pat on the back for this touching and wonderful recording! Love the reverb/echo stage effect captured throughout the entire show on this recording. Sounds nice when played loud with big speakers with a touch of eq. This East Coast Summer Tour opener is a spectacular performance that hits every note and leaves you wanting more. Bob Weir and Phil Lesh are still magical together with never ending musical drive. JK is an amazing guitar player with just the right touch and tonal qualities. JC is a super talented piano player with master spiderfinger skills. JR is a beast to say the least on drumskins. JP & SB's vocals blend perfectly! What a Band! This show ROCKS!! Glad to have dedicated people like Mike Camp taping these shows and getting them up so fast for everyones enjoyment.

Subject: Great sound, great show
This was my first Furthur show and it was a lot stronger than I expected. Never got to see GD but after hearing Jack Straw and Black Throated Wind, it made me believe the magic is still there. Glad this is here in good quality to enjoy again.

I had to sell my tickets to this show due to a back injury :( and it is nice to be able to hear what I missed. Thanks again for taping this show!

Subject: Damn! Great Show & Recording!
I'll give it 4 stars in recognition that there is always waiting around the corner, if only in all of our imaginations, the mythic, legendary ten-thousand-ton beast of a show that will settle the matter once and for all.

That said, this smoked. Really. Absolutely the equal of the best I've ever personally seen of any incarnation -- Brent- or Vince-era GD, Jerry band, DSO, Other Ones, Furthur last year, you name it. The playing was great, the mix was better balanced than last summer, the crowd energy was solid, and this recording is really first-rate. Thanks for sharing it, and so quickly!

Subject: Great show!
Was Front row in this show and all I can remember is the big smiles on Bobby and Phil's face they looked so happy to be here with us!

Subject: Bobby sounds great
Wish I could have made it down for this but the recording is awesome. Band sounds re-energized and Bobby sounds amazing! If I didn't know I would think he's back in his 30's :) promising start look fwd to hearing more

Subject: Solid tour opener
Thanks for the great recording. The stream was terrible so it is wonderful to hear this – and the day after the show!!! Dancin’ had an oddly slow tempo. The show picked up steam from there. I always enjoy hearing the tempo go nuts at the end of Casey – the guys still know how to have fun. You can't go wrong with a double encore.

Subject: great sound for an outdoor show
They should get 5 stars for playing in that hot weather, i am glad i am in the a/c to enjoy it. I liked the song selection, it sounds like a great start for a tour I only hope that they can keep it up, like the last tour, and not a generic dead, like saint/lost sailer. Break out the great stuff. I have seen it before, this is a great band.

Subject: Excellent recording. Fun show.
4 out of 5 only because I haven't decided what a "5" is for me yet!
A fun setlist that seems to cover quite a bit of ground. For a first show of a tour, I'd say this is quite strong.
Serious kudos to the "taper" (does anyone actually use tape anymore? :-). Surprisingly little background noise and excellent levels and clarity. Looking forward to hearing more of your work!
